Terms and disclaimer
An exploratory experience, not a scientific verdict.
Last updated: 27 August 2026
Remote Viewing Lab is a blind perception experiment provided for curiosity, entertainment and informal experimentation. It is not a diagnostic, scientific or professional assessment of psychic or paranormal ability.
By using Remote Viewing Lab, you agree to use the service in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
How results should be understood
Results show how your final submitted impressions compare with the enabled targets in the current Remote Viewing Lab library. A rank, percentile or outcome is a result within that comparison system. It does not establish psychic ability, paranormal ability or a paranormal mechanism.
The target library, matching method, thresholds and other parts of the experiment may change as Remote Viewing Lab is developed. Results produced at different times may therefore not be directly comparable.
AI sketches and voice transcription
AI-generated sketches may contain invented, inaccurate or misleading details. The sketch is generated from your submitted words and does not receive the hidden target image or target information.
The AI sketch does not determine your result. The comparison uses your final submitted description and any optional impression tags.
Voice transcription is also generated using AI and may contain errors. You should review and edit a transcript before submitting it if accuracy matters to you.
Your submissions
You keep any rights you have in words or other material you submit. By submitting material, you give Remote Viewing Lab permission to process, store, reproduce, transform and display it only as needed to operate the experiment, generate sketches or transcripts, calculate and preserve results, maintain your anonymous result history and provide sharing features.
Do not submit material that is illegal, infringes another person's rights, or contains personal, confidential or sensitive information that you would not want included in a result you may later share.
Sharing results
Revealed results can be shared using an unguessable result URL. Shared results and social previews may contain your submitted words, AI sketch, actual target image, rank, percentile and outcome.
Anyone who receives or discovers the relevant revealed-result URL may be able to view that result. Do not treat a sharing URL as a secure place to store confidential information.
Target photographs
Target photographs may come from third-party sources such as Wikimedia Commons. Those photographs remain subject to their stated licences, attribution requirements and other applicable rights. Displaying a photograph in Remote Viewing Lab does not mean that Remote Viewing Lab owns copyright in it.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. This includes deliberately interfering with its operation, attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or hidden target information, circumventing usage or security limits, submitting unlawful material, or using automated requests in a way that places an unreasonable load on the service.
We may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, its infrastructure or other users.
Availability and changes
Remote Viewing Lab is currently provided free of charge. We do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
We may change, add or remove features, targets, AI models, matching methods, limits or other parts of the service as the experiment is developed. Anonymous session history and shared-result links are not guaranteed to remain available indefinitely.
Do not rely on Remote Viewing Lab for important decisions
Remote Viewing Lab should not be used to make or guide medical, financial, legal, emergency, personal-safety or other important real-world decisions. Use appropriate professional or official sources for those decisions.
Responsibility and liability
Remote Viewing Lab does not guarantee that any result, AI output, transcription, ranking or other information produced by the service will be accurate or suitable for a particular purpose.
Subject to rights and responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited, we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on experimental results, AI-generated material, temporary service interruptions or changes to the experiment that were not reasonably foreseeable.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Privacy
Use of the service is also subject to the Remote Viewing Lab Privacy Notice, which explains how anonymous session information, submitted impressions, generated media and usage information are handled.
UK operation and users worldwide
Remote Viewing Lab is operated from the United Kingdom and is available to people worldwide. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protections or other laws applicable where you live provide rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Remote Viewing Lab develops. The current version will be published on this page with its latest update date. Changes apply from the time the updated terms are published unless stated otherwise.
